Innovative 5G 8x8 MIMO Antennas for Industry – R&D Project
Development of R&D Activities and Competencies of Wireless Instruments Sp. z o.o. through the Project of Ultra-Wideband 5G 8x8 MIMO Antennas for Industry
Wireless Instruments Sp. z o.o. is implementing the project titled "Development of R&D Activities and Competencies of Wireless Instruments Sp. z o.o. through the Project of Ultra-Wideband 5G 8x8 MIMO Antennas for Industry."
Project number: FEDS.01.02-IP.01-0150/24.
As part of the project, development work will be carried out aimed at designing, developing, and launching the production of innovative and proprietary ultra-wideband 5G 8x8 MIMO antennas for industrial applications. Additionally, the project aims to enhance the competencies of the Wireless Instruments team. The project will enable R&D activities focused on the design and implementation of 5G 8x8 MIMO antennas, including versions with a microprocessor-based SIM Extender, for the Polish market. It also includes strengthening employee knowledge and skills in areas such as industrial property rights management.
The main objective of the project is to design and launch the production of ultra-wideband 5G 8x8 MIMO antennas for industry, while simultaneously improving the competencies of the R&D team at Wireless Instruments, enhancing the quality of products and services, increasing competitiveness through the implementation of innovative solutions in Poland and Europe, meeting the expectations of the market (OEMs, distributors, operators, integrators, and end customers), and taking into account environmentally friendly aspects of the production process.
The potential recipients of the ultra-wideband 5G 8x8 MIMO antennas developed by Wireless Instruments will primarily include OEM manufacturers and distributors. Other important customer groups will include telecom service providers and system integrators. Due to the industrial nature of the antennas, particularly important target segments will be companies operating in the construction, mining, and agriculture sectors, as well as manufacturers of mobile machinery and specialized vehicles (wheeled, rail, and water-based).
