1. Why are the enclosures made of ABS?

Because ABS is a very solid and UV resistant material. Thank to that our enclosures are able to work outdoors.

IPXY is an Ingress Protection Rating, which defines protection levels of certain product. X from 0-6 defines security level from penetration of solids. Y from 0-9 defines security level from water.

3. What kind of mounting is it?

It is made of a special fiberglass reinforced plastic, which is rigid even in extremely weather conditions. It can be regulated by 60 degrees in two planes.
