1. What is an omnidirectional antenna?

Type of antenna which receives or transmits signals in all directions along one plane with equal strength. Thank to that you can recive signal from whenever you are in particular area. Omnidirectioanl antenna radiation pattern:

IPXY is an Ingress Protection Rating, which defines protection levels of certain product. X from 0-6 defines security level from penetration of solids. Y from 0-9 defines security level from water.

3. What is MIMO and SISO?

MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) is a technology that uses more than one antenna for both, transmitter and receiver. Systems using MIMO utilize those numerous antennas to receive many data streams at once operating in a single radio channel. In general, the more antennas are in your MIMO system,the more data streams can be received. SISO (Single Input Single output) – kind of system that uses only one antenna for transmitter and receiver, e.g. GSM, CDMA, satellite or radio systems. It is the most basic antenna technology used.
